We received the results from Maggie’s end of chemo CT scan this past thursday!! She has a small node that they will be watching in her left lung and a cyst on her ovary, but they declared her No Evidence of Disease (or NED)!!!!! As long as she stays NED for the next 5 years she will be considered in remission! We are ever so thankful for all of your prayers! Mags will have blood work and a physical once a month and CT scans every three months. Praise the Lord for He is true, good, and holy.

I am on my way home!! I had such a wonderful time with my heme-onc and student nurses, they helped my stay in the hospital fly by! I had an EKG this morning because my heart rate kept dipping down at night, but the results came back normal! Also my CT scan showed no new tumor growth, and that the cyst on my ovary is about the same!!! So the plan is to keep on with chemo to get rid of any bad cells that are left. Thank you all so much for your prayers!
I have good news and bad news. The good news is I don’t have chemo this week. The bad news is I can’t have chemo this week. I am grateful I get to stay home, and am trusting God that this is what is best for my body this week. Please pray that my platelet counts will come up enough by next Monday that I can have my 5 days of chemo.
On another good note I have 2 new pets!! They are crickets, and I named them aurora and rapunzel! I am hoping when I am finished with my chemo (hopefully by the end of the year or maybe next spring) I can get my very own puppy! She will be a sheltie and I will name her aurora angel.
Thank you for checking in on me and for your prayers!!
